Gloomy Sunday

Since yesterday at 1:00 pm, a big wildfire is burning the land where I live and it's not controled yet, not at all.
It has burned a huge extension of land (more than 13.800 hectares -70 km-) and we have been housebound all night long (some villages have been evicted). The smoke can be seen from space estatic.elpunt.net/imatges/46/… , the flames create a strange orange light on the sky, and it was very hard to breathe during the night. Now, about 1200 people are working very hard to control the situation (neighbors and spanish & french forces), 4 people died, forests devastated, thousends of animals died or runed away and most comments on social networks about this fire are just bullshit!! I'm not proud of being spanish (neither human!) after reading comments on spanish official media such as ''Well, they're from Catalonia. Let them burn'' or '' if they want independence from Spain, fuck them and don't send spanish forces there''.
Am I awake?? What's that shit?? We are persons!! Forget your polithic ideologies, your prejudices!! How some people can be so cinical and be glad about that?? I'm so sorry about this tragedy and I cry when I think on the landscape I don't mind if it's french territory, catalan, spanish or from mars....
We destroy nature and we destroy ourselves. Don't we have ANYTHING that unite us?? Neither empathy?? That's even a more chilling background...
For now, I'm just going to participate on the initiative ''1catalan1tree'' helping repopulate the burned land.
